Why I love Grace
Every day since we have been blessed with Grace, I find a new reason to love her. She has done some very funny, smart and loving things and she can always surprise me. So here are some reasons I just love Grace. (Note: these are just some, not all. I don't have all century)
1. I love the way she looks at Brent when he walks through the door. Her whole face just lights up because Daddy is home.
2. I love that every time we go to the grocery store, we end up giggling through at least 5 straight aisles.
3. Regarding #2, I LOVE her laugh. She has the best laugh. I also love that I can make her laugh more then anyone else. It's a privilege that moms get.
4. She a great eater. She has never been fussy about anything we have given her. Not to mention bottles or pacifiers. She takes them all.
5. She's super friendly. She is always smiling at someone and everyone where ever we go.
6. She doesn't like to wait to be able to do things. Meaning... she wants to sit up now. She wants to eat that now. She wants to talk now.
7. She loves to touch your face. It's a very affectionate thing. She reaches out and places her hands on you cheek, nose, mouth, etc. and then kisses or slobbers you. It's so sweet.
8. She's my best friend. We do everything together and I love taking her anywhere with me. I feel like we have private jokes and I spend most of the days laughing or smiling. She become my favorite shopping partner!!
9. She is the best baby!!!! She hardly cries, laughs a lot, and just goes with the flow. We have been able to take her anywhere that most people can't take infants because she is so good.
10. She's my daughter and I get to have her forever.

I love the image of the two of you giggling at the grocery mart. You have always been such a great giggler it just makes sence that your daughter would be one too.
I second the first comment: What a sweet post. Hit Mary up...she has the ABBA on her computer now.
Hi Summer!
You've got a darling blog and an ADORABLE girl! She's not much older than my baby Rebecca whose middle name is also Michelle! I love baby giggles too. They are so fun. Seeing the emotion (other than crying) coming out of tiny babies is amazing. We lived on the Navajo reservation in Monument Valley for a couple of years and found out that a baby's first laugh is a BIG deal to them. The first person to get a baby to laugh is supposed to cook a meal for everyone. And since the Navajo's are very clannish, that's a LOT of people! We actually got an invitation to a "Laugh Party". So what you should do is say to your hubby, "You heard Grace laugh first, right?" And then get him to take you out to dinner!
Tell Beth she needs to update her blog again! I miss her a ton. I've been meaning to e-mail her and find out how bad the storming and hurricanes have been for them.
Congrats on your sweet girl!

That was beautiful. You are both lucky to have each other. I love the part about the mommy privlege--making your children laugh like no on e else can and comforting them the same way.
Such a privlege to be a mother. See ya Saturday.
Your such a sweet and loving Mom! I think I need to do that list for Emma-we have our moments. Thankyou for the great example, Grace your beautiful!!!
So sweet! I am so happy for you and the wonderful mommy you are!
Way to go and make me get all teary eyed and emotional. It's amazing to me to think of all of the wonderful and crazy things we do for our children. When they are the biggest part of our lives, it's hard not to see everything great about them. I see that your age is catching up to you quickly with all of your words of wisdom overflowing all over the place. Wise beyond your years.
